She is revealed to actually be a bounty hunter who used her attractiveness to lure in her latest, unsuspecting target. The marshal pays her the bounty, but also threatens her because he does not care for her self-confident attitude.

At dinner, Del subsequently reveals to the couple that there was no condominium to begin with, and that he instead arranged for them to live in a large, historic colonial mansion named Casa Fortuna.

The North siblings, Benjamin, Crista and Marco, must rescue their missing Uncle Rudy, who has gone to the Himalayas in search of the mythical Yeti. The first decision that the player has to make is when their Fokker F27 has a fuel leak and they either have to parachute or stay. Producer Jeff Norton explains that they aspired to create alternate story paths (there are "over eleven possible endings") with different characters and story developments and yet obey the rules of their fictional world.

Shaun goes to a nearby town to buy a pack horse for the gold, but makes the mistake of paying for the animal with a gold nugget. This lets the bandits who run the town, led by the ruthless McCracken (Gene Evans), know that they've stuck gold.

This was rewritten during production, but some elements remain, such as the otherwise nonsensical final chapter name "Operator No. 17" and Ula Vale's unexplained periodic use of disguises in the first few chapters.

Batgirl, Robin and Nightwing reveal that as a present for Batman, they decided to take him on vacation.

A brother and sister named Kevin and Holly Ryan are kayaking with dolphins near St. Augustine, Florida and are filming on a nearby island and discover a real-estate mogul named Winston Mills, who has big plans for the cove. When they kayak back home, a boat causes them to fall into the water, and a dolphin saves Holly from drowning.

American intelligence officials learn that Soviet spies have begun exploring a remote region of the Alaskan Territory in search of answers to the worldwide reports of "flying saucers". Wealthy American playboy Mike Trent, who was raised in that remote region, is recruited by intelligence officer Hank Thorn to assist a Secret Service agent in exploring the area to discover what the Soviets may have found. To his surprise, Mike discovers that the agent is an attractive woman named Vee Langley, and they slowly become mutually attracted.
