A series of horrific murders has terrorized Victorian London and baffled police. While returning home from a pub, newspaper reporter Bruce Adams finds one murder victim, a prominent doctor. The next day, two American policemen, Slim and Tubby, who are studying London police methods, respond to brawl at a women's suffrage rally in Hyde Park.
The film begins in 1944, Switzerland, taking place after the events of Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge. Toulon and his little friends are still on the run, and decide to hide in the Kolewige, an inn from the Swiss border. Blade finds the wooden head of an old puppet named Cyclops in their trunk, and when Toulon sees it, he then tells his puppets the adventures he had with the woman he loves, and his retro puppets, starting in Cairo, Egypt, in 1902.

While working in the church, a woman named Grace finds a hidden crypt. While exploring she discovers a voodoo book; however, she is soon sent away by Father Cornelius. Grace's son, Nathan, attends the local high school with his friends Henry and Diggs.
On a routine flight from Los Angeles to Paris, a renegade group of scientists have smuggled aboard a secret container holding a fellow scientist infected with a deadly genetically engineered virus which reanimates the dead. The virus is said to be a variant of the "malaria virus." They discovered and manufactured the virus with the intent of turning it into a biological weapon. Their goal was to produce "super soldiers" who could continue fighting in the harshest conditions, including being mortally wounded or under heavy enemy fire.

A group of young college students find an old 15th-century coffin, which is equipped with a part clockwork-mechanical/supernatural contraption that enables contact with spirits and even allows one to experience becoming a ghost for a period of time, whilst cheating death's grasp. But the casket soon brings out their more purely evil side, manifesting their more dangerous impulses and darker desires.

As each murder is accomplished, Richard takes particular delight in removing small figurines, each resembling one of the successors, from a throne-room dollhouse, until he alone remains. After the death of Edward, Richard is the heir to the Crown of England and consequently becomes Richard III, King of England.
In South Dakota, best friends Kevin O'Connor and Bobby Green are walking through the woods on their way home when they are kidnapped. The two boys wake up inside the trunk of a car, and Kevin is taken inside while Bobby is left locked in the trunk. He is able to free himself and escape, but decides against running away after he hears Kevin screaming for help.

On December 12, 1983, teenagers Malik and Liam make out in a car when a group of men suddenly appear and brutally attack them. On November 7, 1995, Malik, his partner, Aaron, and Aaron’s teenage daughter, Kayla, moves into a new home in a small town to begin a new life as a family. During the first night in their home, Malik hears strange noises, and a mysterious, hooded person watches them from afar.
Don and Fred decide to visit the house of Doug, Don's brother. They are unaware that Doug and his wife Susan, who have been unable to conceive a child naturally, have been participating in unconventional experiments performed by Doctor Lucas, in order to artificially induce pregnancy in Susan. While looking for beer in Doug's house, Don and Fred discover a book written by Aleister Crowley, as well as a tape recorder that plays a recording of a distorted voice.
Anna, a failed Irish folk singer, and her Eastern European boyfriend Aleks are travelling through rural Ireland to document obscure Irish folk songs and sell the recordings to collectors (unbeknownst to the singers). They become fascinated with a lead on an undocumented thousand-year-old folk song allegedly passed down from mother to daughter, and track down Rita Concannon, an elderly woman who can sing it. The song, in Old Irish, is about a king who is betrayed by the object of his romantic affections and then places a curse on her, her lover, and her descendants.

In a Cornish village in August 1860, the inhabitants of the town are dying from a mysterious plague that seems to be spreading at an accelerated rate. He later runs into a pickpocket to whom he tells "The Body Politic", a story about a man whose hands rebel against him.
Ryan, an employee of the Vimuville health spa, sets out early one morning to warn the residents of Pebbles Court in the suburb of Homesville in Melbourne that they've been targeted for experiments with their illegal new vitamins.
