The MMA fighter Octavio, known as Octa, is about to take part in an important ring fight. The gym he runs with his friend Paul is in financial trouble. They both hope to earn the money they need from the fight. The same day is Octa’s daughter’s birthday; she lives with her mother and her mother’s new boyfriend. Octa promised his daughter he would come and bring her a cake. Keeping that promise is in jeopardy because the fight is delayed by an hour. On the phone, the mother gives Octa an ultimatum: he must be there within 60 minutes, or she will petition the court to grant her sole custody. Just before entering the ring, Octa turns around and heads for his daughter. Several men immediately chase him, intent on bringing him back to the fight, by force if necessary. Octa is able to fight them off and escape. Wherever he goes, they find him again. During the chase, he learns that the fight was fixed. The plan was for Octa to win after the third round. The people involved placed bets on Octa accordingly and are now afraid of losing their money if he does not return in time and is disqualified. One of Octa’s friends eventually offers to help and gives him a ride on his motorcycle. But when they reach their destination, the betting syndicate is already waiting. They have bet 500,000 euros on Octa to win. Octa manages to escape again, and after taking a train, he flees to a nightclub. After leaving the club, he gets a call from Paul, who confesses that he initiated the fight-fixing scheme. Octa realizes that Paul has been tracking him the whole time via GPS on his smartwatch and passing his location on to his pursuers. He now heads to the animal shelter to bring his daughter a cat as a present. Meanwhile, he also lures the fixers, the betting syndicate, and the police there, so the police will deal with them and he can reach his daughter undisturbed. At the animal shelter, he is spotted again and sustains extremely serious injuries in a fight. He makes it to just outside his daughter’s house and sinks to the ground. His daughter recognizes him, and the two embrace.
