Full plot (contains spoilers)
Steve, a doorknob salesman, discovers the Orb of Dominance and the Earth Crystal in a mine, creating a portal to the Overworld. He is later imprisoned in the Nether by Malgosha, a piglin ruler. In the real world, Garrett Garrison, a video game shop owner, finds the Orb and Crystal in a storage auction. When Garrett, along with siblings Henry and Natalie and their friend Dawn, find the items, they are pulled into the Overworld. They join Steve, who is trying to reclaim his items from Malgosha. The group travels to a village and a mansion to find a replacement Earth Crystal. After a series of battles against piglin forces and the Great Hog, the group eventually defeats Malgosha's forces. They return to Chuglass, where they establish successful businesses and Steve meets a woman named Alex.
