The story

At seventeen, close friends Stéphanie and Véronique fall for the same boy, Cyril, though one pursues her passion openly and the other keeps it secret. During the Easter holidays, they travel with Stéphanie’s mother, Laurence, to Île-aux-Moines, where Cyril’s unexpected arrival with his friend Tony further complicates the romantic situation.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

At seventeen, the body is ready to love and be loved, and Stéphanie and Véronique have hearts as big as their imaginations. The two friends, who seem to have nothing in common apart from their closeness, fall for the same boy, Cyril. Naturally, each loves Cyril in her own way. The more outgoing one makes him her own as a woman; the more reserved one possesses him in her dreams. Yet both throw themselves into their budding passion with equal intensity: one openly, the other in secret. The winter months pass, and the Easter holidays arrive. Stéphanie and Véronique go to Île-aux-Moines with Laurence, Stéphanie’s mother. Cyril’s unexpected arrival with his friend Tony once again throws the game of love into confusion. Back in Paris, parents and children, a little ruffled, will finally let themselves be guided—some by the choices of the heart, others by the choices of reason. The time has come for Véronique and Cyril to confess their love to each other. But there is still one important step to take. Amsterdam and a hockey match will give them the opportunity.
