The story

A Star Is Born follows the lives of Esther Hoffman, a struggling singer, and John Norman Howard, a self-destructive rock star. After a chance encounter in a bar, the two fall in love. John Norman Howard, a self-destructive rock star, meets struggling singer Esther Hoffman in a bar after a chaotic performance. They fall in love and eventually marry, moving to a ranch. As Esther's career skyrockets, she wins a Grammy, while John's career fails. Following a series of personal struggles and a tragic accident where John is killed in a car crash, Esther must face the reality of life without him. The film concludes with a memorial concert where Esther performs his songs, honoring his memory in front of a crowd of fans.
