...a zase ta Lucie! (1984)

Although it is not explicitly mentioned in the film, judging by the ubiquitous West German car license plates and other clues, the story takes place somewhere in what was once West Germany. Lucie has just three days left before she starts first grade at elementary school. The older children in Osvald’s gang have already accepted Lucka into their group thanks to the Formelaks, but Osvald himself refuses to accept it and, at a suitable opportunity, kidnaps the Formelaks. First, however, he has to play the piano in front of the ethereal music professor Hartmann. Thanks to the Formelaks, the performance turns into a farce, and the hated piano has to be taken out of the house, much to Osvald’s delight. This earns Lucka some points with Osvald, and the two call a truce. When the Formelaks return to Lucka’s home, they use a faulty refrigerator to turn the living room into an ice rink, where Lucka’s young friends and the rowdy teenagers from Osvald’s gang all gather together. What began as a routine refrigerator repair becomes an apartment renovation of apocalyptic proportions thanks to the ineptitude of the repairman, Šmíd. Most of the service vehicles from the repair company where Lucka’s father works get involved. Everything turns out well, and Grandpa eventually arrives to witness his granddaughter’s first day of school. He and his two dogs, however, are also drawn into the inexplicable events caused by the Formelaks. Finally, on Monday morning, everyone except Lucka sleeps in because of the sleeping pills, and she has to set off on her first journey to school accompanied by her friends…
