Alex und der Löwe (2010)

Leo has been in a relationship with Carla for four years, and she is pressuring him to marry her. Leo, however, does not want to commit himself to her so firmly. Alexander is dating Daniel, but catches him in the act with someone else and ends the relationship. When Leo admits to himself that he is attracted to men, Carla leaves him in shock. Leo meets Alex after Alex attends a drag show with his gay friend Tobi and their straight friends Kerstin and Stefanie. Leo is attracted to Alex, but is too shy to approach him. At a club, Leo collapses after drinking too much, so Alex takes him to Steffi’s nearby apartment. There, he rebuffs Leo’s advances. But at Steffi’s annual bikini party, Leo takes the initiative, and they spend the night together. Unlike Leo, Alex is not yet interested in a long-term relationship, because he is afraid of being hurt again. Leo is disappointed and throws him out of the apartment. After Alex sits in Tobi’s apartment, utterly miserable, Tobi takes matters into his own hands, even though he can’t stand Leo. He visits Leo and urges him to finally make Alex happy. By coincidence, Alex is just then ringing the doorbell at Leo’s apartment to apologize. Leo kisses him. The whole group of friends is now in happy relationships.
