Alla vi barn i Bullerbyn (1986)

The film is set in Småland in 1928, and we follow the children Anna, Lisa, Britta, Bosse, Lasse and Olle. Lisa, who is also the narrator, lives with her brothers Lasse and Bosse and their parents at Mellangården. The sisters Britta and Anna live with their parents and grandfather at Norrgården. Olle lives with his little sister Kerstin and their parents at Sörgården. Bullerbyn is also home to the maid Agda and the farmhand Oskar. We follow the Bullerbyn children through their summer holiday, which involves everything from crayfish fishing, thinning turnips and celebrating Midsummer to hunting for treasure, sleeping in the hayloft and going on nighttime adventures in search of Näcken. Lisa and Anna also go shopping for their mothers, but no matter how hard they try, they always manage to forget something, such as falukorv, even though they sing a song about everything they need to buy. Olle also gets to borrow the dog Svip while his owner, the shoemaker Snäll, recovers from a sprained foot.
