Full plot (contains spoilers)
Phantomas finds the murderer of the groom, who is killed on his wedding day. “The wedding reception for Inge West and Sigurd Bracke is being held at the Columbia Hotel. Jens Jakolsen, a civil engineer from Stockholm, arrives at the hotel and asks for a room. He sneaks onto the gallery overlooking the hall and makes contact with the groom, who happens to look up. The latter leaves the hall unnoticed. In the winter garden, the two men confer and exchange papers, then both quickly go their separate ways. In the hall, a children’s ceremonial dance is performed first, followed by a telepathic demonstration: a blindfolded man tries to find a pin. Meanwhile, the groom is urgently called to the telephone. The whole party follows the man searching for the pin, which is in the padding of the telephone booth, and there they find the groom dead. Everyone suspects Jens Jakolsen of the murder, since a note bearing the words ‘Jens Jakolsen did it’ is found on the dead man—but he firmly denies it. Detective Phantomas is called in to solve the mystery, and indeed exposes Bracke’s mother-in-law as the culprit.”
