The story
Nine years after getting married, Jim Levenstein and his wife Michelle are in a sexual rut. Their friends—Kevin, Oz, and Paul—are also navigating various life stages and locations. The four friends return to East Great Falls, Michigan, for their thirteen-year high school reunion. They are joined by the unwanted presence of Steven Stifler. As the group gathers, they navigate the complexities of their current lives while facing the reality of their past, culminating in a series of events that force them to confront their feelings for one another and their roles in the group.

Nine years after marriage, Jim Levenstein and his wife Michelle are struggling with a sexual rut. His friends—Kevin (a househusband), Oz (a sportscaster), and Paul (a world traveler)—join him in East Great Falls, Michigan, for their 13th high school reunion. They are joined by the unwanted Stifler. Jim becomes entangled with a former neighbor, Kara, while the others deal with their respective partners and past flames. After a series of mishaps involving a beach trip and a party, the group faces internal conflicts. Paul admits he lied about his travels to hide a mundane job; Oz realizes he still loves Heather; and Jim must navigate his feelings for Kara versus his marriage. Ultimately, the group reconciles their differences, Stifler finds a new path, and the friends agree to meet every year. Stifler is even seduced by Paul's mother, Rachel.
