A Secret Service agent must clear his name and protect the President after being framed for a drone attack.
The story
Secret Service agent Mike Banning is tasked with protecting President Allan Trumbull. During a private fishing trip, a swarm of armed drones attacks and kills the protection detail, leaving only Banning and the President alive. However, Banning is immediately framed for the attack by a conspiracy involving a private military company. While on the run and pursued by both the police and mercenaries, Banning must navigate a web of betrayal to uncover the truth and find the real perpetrators behind the assassination attempt.

Secret Service agent Mike Banning is preparing for a promotion to director when a drone attack during a fishing trip leaves him and President Allan Trumbull as the only survivors. Banning is framed for the attack by Wade Jennings, the head of Salient Global. While fleeing from authorities and Salient mercenaries, Banning seeks help from his estranged father, Clay. It is revealed that Vice President Martin Kirby is conspiring with Jennings. After a series of intense battles, including a confrontation at a hospital and a final showdown on an airfield, Banning thwarts the conspiracy. He is exonerated, and the conspirators are arrested. Banning ultimately accepts the promotion to Secret Service director.
