A dancer seeking recovery from a career-threatening injury finds herself entangled with a mysterious couple in a New York City apartment building.
The story
After a serious ankle injury during a Broadway performance, dancer Terry Gionoffrio struggles to maintain her career. She follows a producer to the Bramford apartment building, where she falls ill. She is taken in by elderly neighbors Minnie and Roman Castevet, who offer her a rent-free room. As Terry navigates her recovery and the strange atmosphere of the building, she begins to uncover unsettling mysteries surrounding her new living situation and the intentions of those who have welcomed her.

After a career-threatening injury, dancer Terry Gionoffrio moves into the Bramford building, where she is befriended by the Castevets. After a series of unsettling events, including a mysterious pregnancy and a strange talisman, Terry discovers a grimoire and a secret passageway. She learns of a sinister plot involving her unborn child. After a confrontation with a neighbor and a visit to a theater where she finds a haunted rosary, Terry realizes the danger she is in. She eventually finds a hidden temple where she is told her son is 'Satan's heir.' After a final confrontation with the Castevets, who declare 'God dead,' Terry leaps from her window to her death, while the Castevets are seen smiling as they witness the arrival of the next generation of the Rosemary's Baby timeline.
