Full plot (contains spoilers)
Elly Conway, an introverted spy novelist, is rescued from an ambush by Aidan Wilde, a spy who reveals that the Division—an organization she has been writing about—is targeting her because her books predict their actions. They travel to London to find a 'Masterkey.' Elly discovers her parents are actually operatives for the Division. They flee to France, where they learn Elly is actually a brainwashed agent named Rachel Kylle, who used her memories to write the Argylle novels. They travel to the Arabian Peninsula to retrieve the Masterkey but are captured by the Division. It is revealed that Rachel was a double agent; she eventually fights her way through the facility and destroys the Division's headquarters. In the aftermath, she resumes her persona as a novelist, only to be confronted by the real Argylle. A mid-credits scene reveals a younger Argylle as a Kingsman agent.
