Full plot (contains spoilers)
Astronomer Prof. Dr. Robert von Reichenbach is a sober-minded scientist interested only in facts. Since the observatory he runs is attracting fewer and fewer visitors, his employees hire the young astrologer Lena Moosbach without Robert’s permission. She manages to make the observatory a popular attraction again. Although Robert is initially hostile toward her, he falls in love with Lena after some time. But Robert’s girlfriend, Monika, disapproves of his interest in Lena and spreads the claim that Lena had only pretended to have a doctorate. This initially causes a rift between Robert and Lena, but Robert’s aunt Olga is able to resolve it.
