A British spy and a criminal mastermind engage in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse across time and space.

The story

On his honeymoon in 1999, British spy Austin Powers discovers that his wife, Vanessa Kensington, is actually an android "fembot" controlled by Dr. Evil. After Vanessa self-destructs, Austin celebrates that he is single again. Meanwhile, Dr. Evil returns from space and prepares a plan to time travel back to the 1960s to steal Austin's "mojo"—his libido and life force. When Austin learns he has lost his mojo, he is sent to 1969 via a time-traveling vehicle. There, he must team up with CIA agent Felicity Shagwell to navigate a series of obstacles and stop Dr. Evil's ultimate plan to hold the world hostage.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

During his 1999 honeymoon, Austin Powers discovers his wife is a 'fembot' and subsequently loses his 'mojo' to Dr. Evil's henchman, Fat Bastard. To reclaim it, Austin is sent back to 1969, where he teams up with CIA agent Felicity Shagwell. They navigate a series of obstacles, including a pursuit by Dr. Evil's henchmen and a journey to a Caribbean island. The conflict culminates in a space battle on the Moon where Dr. Evil has installed a massive laser. Austin and Felicity travel to the Moon via the Apollo 11 spaceflight. In a final confrontation, Austin uses a time machine to travel ten minutes into the past to save Felicity and the world simultaneously. The film ends with Austin and Felicity returning to 1999, while Dr. Evil remains in 1969, vowing revenge.
