Full plot (contains spoilers)
Thanos acquires the Power Stone and his lieutenants intercept the survivors of Asgard, where they defeat Thor and take the Space Stone. Hulk is sent to Earth, where he warns Doctor Strange and Wong of Thanos's plan to destroy half of all life. The Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy are split into several groups to track down the remaining stones. Thor travels to Nidavellir to forge a new weapon, while the Guardians travel to Knowhere. On Vormir, Thanos sacrifices Gamora to obtain the Soul Stone. Meanwhile, the Avengers and their allies gather in Wakanda to prepare for an inevitable invasion. On the planet Titan, the remaining heroes face Thanos and his forces. Despite their efforts, Thanos eventually secures the final stones and completes the Infinity Gauntlet. In Wakanda, the heroes successfully repel Thanos's army, but they are too late to stop him from using the Gauntlet. Thanos snaps his fingers, causing half of all life in the universe to disintegrate, leaving the survivors scattered across the cosmos.
