Full plot (contains spoilers)
When he was younger, Buffalo Bill rode the Pony Express as “Bill Cody.” Now he leads a wagon train of settlers through the West, which also includes the beautiful Ethel and her uncle, a pastor. At the journey’s destination, Bill learns from a friend that a thriving trade in smuggled weapons is underway, with the arms eventually reaching the Indians. This kind of fraud regularly takes place in the town of Custer, where two gang bosses run things. Teaming up with Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane, Bill quickly succeeds in his fight against the smugglers. He also reunites with Ethel in Custer, where she miraculously escapes alive when the Sioux attack. As the natives plan another attack, Custer is evacuated, leaving it a ghost town by the time the Indians arrive. However, Buffalo Bill leads the hidden soldiers to victory over the Indians and finally rids the town of the smugglers as well.
