An expedition team becomes trapped in a subterranean pyramid where they are caught in the crossfire of an ancient battle between Aliens and Predators.

The story

After a satellite detects a mysterious heat bloom beneath Bouvet Island, a wealthy industrialist named Charles Bishop Weyland organizes a team of experts to investigate a buried pyramid. The team, which includes archaeologists, linguists, and mercenaries, discovers a tunnel leading into the structure. However, they are not alone; a Predator ship has arrived on Earth, and the team finds themselves trapped within the pyramid's ancient walls. As they delve deeper into the structure, they encounter evidence of a past civilization and find themselves caught in a deadly conflict between two extraterrestrial species.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

A team of experts, led by the dying industrialist Charles Bishop Weyland, explores a pyramid beneath the ice of Bouvet Island. They discover a tunnel and enter the structure, only to be trapped inside as a Predator ship arrives and a Xenomorph Queen is awakened from cryogenic stasis. The Queen begins producing eggs, and the resulting facehuggers infect several team members, who transform into Xenomorphs. A violent three-way battle erupts between the humans, the Predators (Scar, Celtic, and Chopper), and the Xenomorphs. Weyland dies during the conflict, while Lex Woods and archaeologist Sebastian De Rosa manage to survive. They learn from the pyramid's hieroglyphs that Predators have visited Earth for millennia, using humans as hosts for Xenomorphs in a ritual of passage. Lex and a Predator named Scar form an uneasy alliance to defeat the Xenomorphs. Lex eventually kills a transformed Sebastian, and Scar uses a self-destruct device to destroy the pyramid and the remaining Xenomorphs. They escape to the surface, where Scar is mortally wounded. A Predator ship arrives to retrieve him, and an elder Predator gives Lex a spear as a gift. On the ship, a Predalien is revealed to have emerged from Scar's body.
