The story
In Atlanta, Miles, known as "Baby," is a talented getaway driver who finds solace in music to cope with tinnitus caused by a past accident. He works for a crime syndicate led by a man named Doc to pay off a debt. While navigating the underworld, Baby begins a relationship with Debora, a waitress at a local diner. However, his desire for a normal life is challenged when he is coerced into participating in a high-stakes heist at a U.S. Post Office. As the job unfolds, the lines between his criminal obligations and his hope for a future with Debora become increasingly blurred.

Miles, known as "Baby," is a getaway driver for a crime syndicate led by Doc. He lives a double life, caring for his deaf foster father, Joseph, and dating a waitress named Debora. After a heist goes wrong, he briefly tries to leave his life of crime, but Doc forces him into a final job: a heist at a U.S. Post Office. The crew includes Buddy, his wife Darling, and the volatile Bats. During the heist, they encounter undercover police, and the situation spirals into chaos. After a series of violent confrontations where several members of the crew are killed or injured, Baby manages to escape with Debora. They are eventually cornered by the remaining criminals, but a final confrontation leads to the deaths of the primary antagonists. In the aftermath, Baby is captured and sentenced to prison. Five years later, he is released and reunited with Debora.
