The story

Amy Winehouse is raised in a Jewish family, where both her father and grandmother share a deep love for music and singing. After her talent is recognized by a manager, she signs with Island Records and releases her debut album, Frank, in 2003. Despite her growing success, Amy faces internal conflicts regarding her public image and finds herself in a complicated, tumultuous relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil. As she navigates the pressures of fame, personal struggles with substance abuse, and family tragedies, she finds inspiration for her second album, Back to Black, which becomes a global success.

The film follows the life of Amy Winehouse, who is raised in a musical Jewish household. After her talent is discovered, she signs with Island Records and releases 'Frank' in 2003. Amidst her rising fame, she enters a volatile relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil, which is plagued by his drug addiction and her struggles with alcohol and bulimia. Following a period of personal turmoil and the news of her grandmother's terminal illness, she records 'Back to Black' in 2006, achieving global stardom. The narrative follows their subsequent reunion, their elopement to Miami, and Blake's subsequent imprisonment. Following his release, a struggling Amy enters rehab and wins five Grammy Awards. The story concludes with her life in Camden Square, where she is eventually found dead in 2011 from alcohol poisoning, and is laid to rest with her grandmother.
