Full plot (contains spoilers)
Following her breakup with the Joker, Harley Quinn is left to fend for herself in Gotham City. She begins to build a new life until she is targeted by the criminal syndicate of Roman Sionis, also known as Black Mask. During her attempts to navigate the city, she encounters Dinah Lance, a singer with a powerful voice, and Renee Montoya, a cynical GCPD detective. The plot thickens as a young pickpocket, Cassandra Cain, steals a valuable diamond from Sionis's men. Harley and Cassandra end up together, while the hunt for the diamond involves the vigilante Helena Bertinelli, known as Huntress. The narrative culminates in a showdown at an abandoned amusement park where the women—Harley, Huntress, Black Canary, and Detective Montoya—must unite to stop Sionis's army. After a fierce battle where Dinah uses her sonic scream and Harley leads a desperate charge, Sionis is defeated. In the aftermath, Montoya leaves the police, Huntress and Dinah form the 'Birds of Prey' vigilante team, and Harley and Cassandra start their own business.
