Realizing her dispatch radio is compromised and the community distrusts the police, she becomes a fugitive hunted by both her corrupt colleagues and local criminals.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
U.S. Army veteran Alicia West joins the New Orleans police department and is partnered with Kevin Jennings. While covering a shift for Jennings, West witnesses narcotics detectives Terry Malone and Smitty execute three unarmed drug pushers at a derelict power station. Smitty shoots West, who survives a fall and flees. She discovers that Jennings is also aware of Malone's corruption and attempts to set her up; she subsequently leaves him handcuffed to his truck. Malone frames West for the murders, leading to a bounty on her by drug kingpin Darius Tureau. West seeks refuge with her old friend Mouse, but his apartment is raided by Tureau's gang. After a gunfight where Mouse is captured, West surrenders to Darius to prove her innocence via her bodycam footage. During a police raid on the apartment, West kills Smitty, and Malone kills Darius. West gives her bodycam to Mouse, who manages to upload the footage to the police mainframe. In a final confrontation, West faces Malone in a courtyard; her partner Jennings arrives to incapacitate Malone. West is cleared of all charges and earns the respect of the community.
