Full plot (contains spoilers)
Jona has run away from home and moves into the residential home for the blind where her friend Cécile lives, since she couldn’t find a suitable room in a shared apartment. She is only pretending to be blind and keeps putting off the caretaker, who needs the relevant certificates from her. On a bridge, she meets Ferdi, a loner who is clearly about to jump in despair. She manages to stop him, and after they meet several more times, they fall in love. However, she continues pretending to be blind to everyone. She gets a job in the office of a techno club and also attracts the interest of its owner, Björn. When her lie comes to light, Björn becomes aggressive toward Jona. Ferdi feels betrayed and jumps from the roof of a building, but is saved by a safety net. Eventually, she saves Ferdi from a fight with Björn and tells the truth. The couple walks off into the sunset, while the blind Cécile is left behind; she had fallen in love with Björn.
