The story
In the rural landscape of Texas, a bartender named Ray is involved in a clandestine affair with Abby, the wife of his employer, Julian Marty. When Marty discovers the betrayal, he hires a private investigator, Loren Visser, to eliminate the couple. As the characters navigate a series of tense encounters and misunderstandings, the lines between who is a victim and who is a perpetrator begin to blur. The film builds tension as the characters deal with the consequences of their actions in a gritty, atmospheric environment, leading to a complex web of secrets and lethal consequences.

Ray, a Texas bartender, and Abby, the wife of his boss Julian Marty, are caught in an affair. After Marty hires private investigator Loren Visser to kill them, a series of events leads to a chaotic situation. Visser double-crosses Marty, and Ray ends up burying Marty alive, believing Abby shot him. Visser, who has been manipulating the situation with doctored photos, eventually tracks down the couple. In a final confrontation, Visser kills Ray, and Abby manages to wound him before ultimately shooting him through a door. The film explores the fallout of their choices, culminating in a violent standoff where the truth of who is alive and who is dead remains obscured until the final moments.
