A group of friends at a house party find their game of 'murder in the dark' spiraling into a real-life nightmare when a body is discovered.
The story
Bee, a young woman from Eastern Europe, joins her wealthy girlfriend Sophie and a group of friends at a mansion for a 'hurricane party.' Amidst the celebration, the group decides to play 'Bodies Bodies Bodies,' a murder-in-the-dark game. However, the atmosphere shifts when a storm knocks out the electricity and a body is discovered. With no cell reception and a dead car battery, the group is trapped in the mansion. As tensions rise and paranoia sets in, the line between the game and reality begins to blur, forcing the friends to confront their own insecurities and suspicions in the dark.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
During a hurricane party at a mansion, a group of friends including Bee, Sophie, David, Emma, Alice, Greg, and Jordan play a game called 'Bodies Bodies Bodies.' After David is found with a slashed throat and the power goes out, the group becomes paranoid. They suspect various members, including Greg, whom Bee eventually kills with a kettlebell. As the night progresses, the group's internal conflicts regarding drug use, social media, and personal relationships boil over. After a series of violent confrontations and deaths—including Emma and Alice—it is revealed that David's 'death' was an accident where he slashed his own throat while trying to open a bottle. The film concludes with the storm passing, the power returning, and the survivors realizing the bloodshed was largely a result of mutual paranoia and misunderstanding.
