The story

Sage and Diego arrive at a large lakeside country house they have rented for the weekend to celebrate Sage's new job and Diego's upcoming writing career. Upon arrival, they discover the house has been double-booked and agree to share the space with another couple, Will and Cin. While spending the day at Bone Lake, the atmosphere shifts as the two couples interact. Will and Cin begin to engage in unsettling behavior, including making sexual advances and revealing disturbing information about the lake's history. The situation escalates into a series of psychological mind games as the two couples are forced to navigate the tension of their shared space and the secrets of the house.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Sage and Diego, a couple celebrating a career milestone, find their weekend at a lakeside house complicated by a double-booking with Will and Cin. The atmosphere turns tense as Will and Cin begin a campaign of psychological manipulation, including theft and staged scenarios to turn the couple against each other. The situation turns violent when Sage and Diego are captured and revealed to be the latest victims of Will and Cin—who are actually siblings, Thomas and Alice Price. The siblings have been trapping and killing couples at their estate for years. A violent confrontation ensues involving weapons like a butcher knife, an axe, and an electric chainsaw. In the final confrontation, Sage and Diego manage to fight back, ultimately killing both Will and Cin during a chaotic struggle on a boat in the lake. The film ends with Sage and Diego alone on the water, where Diego retrieves a stolen ring and proposes to Sage as they laugh hysterically.
