The story
In Cologne in 1969, students band together to resist a political order they regard as negative. A young student from Hamburg then moves into the shared apartment where Anka lives. Her own worldviews unsettle the group, producing disarray and occasional discord. The film portrays student life in the late 1960s and early 1970s, including exceptionally long, politically charged monologues.
