Calibro 9 (2020)

Milan, today. Fernando, the son of Ugo Piazza, is a brilliant criminal defense lawyer, raised by his mother Nelly with the intention of making him a different man from his father. But when €100 million disappear from the city in a cyber scam, and the prime suspect is one of lawyer Fernando Piazza’s clients, that surname cannot help but carry weight and point to an inevitable connection. Especially when the defrauded company is merely a front and the people behind it belong to one of the most powerful criminal organizations on the planet: the ’Ndrangheta. Milan, Calabria, Frankfurt, Moscow, and Antwerp are just some of the squares on the chessboard where Fernando is forced to play for his life—a game that must be played across the entire board, as demanding as the enemy he finds himself facing. Police Commissioner Valerio Di Leo is on his trail.
