In 1996, Calvin "The Golden Jet" Joyner was a popular athlete, while Robbie Weirdicht was a bullied outcast. Two decades later, Joyner is a forensic accountant whose life changes when he reconnects with Weirdicht, now known as Bob Stone, a muscular CIA agent. When the CIA identifies Stone as a rogue agent, he takes Joyner along to stop the "Black Badger" from selling satellite codes. The duo navigates a series of obstacles, including a meeting with a former bully, Trevor Olson. During a confrontation, Joyner is forced to choose between helping Stone or following CIA orders. Ultimately, Joyner helps Stone escape and they discover the true villain is Phil Stanton, who faked his death. After a final showdown where Stone defeats Stanton, the two attend their high school reunion. Stone is crowned prom king and publicly reveals his identity as Robbie Weirdicht, while Joyner reconciles with his wife, Maggie.
