Three women working in a private detective agency must navigate a high-stakes conspiracy involving a revolutionary voice-recognition system.

The story

Natalie Cook, Dylan Sanders, and Alex Munday are the 'Angels', three women who work as private investigators together for unseen millionaire Charlie Townsend. Charlie uses speakers in his offices to communicate with the Angels, and his assistant Bosley works with them directly when needed. Charlie assigns the Angels to find Eric Knox, a software genius who created a revolutionary voice-recognition system and heads his own company, Knox Enterprises. He is believed to have been kidnapped by Roger Corwin, who runs the communications-satellite company Redstar. The Angels must navigate a series of obstacles to locate Knox and determine if his technology has been stolen by Corwin's organization.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Natalie Cook, Dylan Sanders, and Alex Munday, known as the 'Angels', work for the mysterious Charlie Townsend. They are tasked with finding Eric Knox, a software genius who was kidnapped by Roger Corwin of Redstar. During an investigation at a party, they encounter a mysterious 'Thin Man' and eventually find Knox. After a period of cooperation, it is revealed that Knox's kidnapping was a ruse to get the Angels to help him access the Redstar satellite network to find and kill Charlie, whom he blames for his father's death in the Vietnam War. Following a series of attacks and the capture of Bosley, the Angels eventually locate Bosley in an abandoned lighthouse. They defeat the remaining enemies, but Knox escapes in a helicopter toward Charlie's home. The Angels intercept him in the air, destroying his craft. They eventually reach Charlie's beach house, where he reveals that Knox's father was actually a double agent. The film ends with the Angels and Bosley being offered a vacation by Charlie while he watches them from a distance.
