Full plot (contains spoilers)

Three men in relationships—Bernard, Antoine and Raphaël—and a single television addict are involved in a traffic accident and end up in the hospital for three weeks. They cause chaos there and get up to all kinds of pranks. Their respective wives, Nathalie, Bernadette and Juliette, are left on their own and take the opportunity to make changes in their lives. While Bernadette deals with her couple’s financial problems in her own way, Juliette tries to promote her husband’s inventions to an enterprising man. Nathalie, meanwhile, continues her efforts to become an actress and has a brief affair with Luc, Bernard’s son. She eventually breaks up with Luc and reconciles with Bernard. The three couples are finally reunited shortly before the men leave the hospital, and Bernadette, with her husband’s help, wins a television game show. The three injured men and the television addict eventually leave the hospital with many plans for the future.
