A small rooster must overcome his reputation as a local laughingstock to save his town from a misunderstood alien invasion.

The story

In the town of Oakey Oaks, Chicken Little becomes the laughingstock of the community after a panicked warning about the sky falling is dismissed as a mistake. A year later, he remains an outcast, befriending other misfits while trying to regain his reputation and his father's pride through sports. However, his life takes a turn when he discovers a mysterious object on his head is actually part of an alien craft. When a misunderstanding leads to a perceived invasion of Oakey Oaks, Chicken Little must step up to protect his home and clear his name.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

After being ridiculed for claiming the sky was falling, Chicken Little becomes a local outcast. He finds solace among other outcasts like Abby Mallard, Runt, and Fish Out of Water. He gains temporary fame by winning a baseball game, but his life changes when he discovers a mysterious panel on his head is part of an invisible UFO. When a group of aliens and their lost child, Kirby, are detected, the town is caught in a chaotic situation. The aliens are actually just looking for their child and are not intentionally destructive. Chicken Little realizes the 'invasion' is a misunderstanding and works to return Kirby to his parents. The aliens then reveal they were simply touring Earth for acorns. The film ends with a year later, the characters watching a movie where Chicken Little is portrayed as a hero.
