Come una crisalide (2010)

During an analytical session, a psychologist advises one of her patients to be admitted to a specialist clinic, but this decision unleashes the latent madness of the mysterious man. Abandonment is the key to his delusion, which will lead him to kill once again, as he had done in the past with his first, lost love. So, after getting rid of the analyst’s body, he decides to continue the “therapy” on his own with the help of a small video camera, recording his moods in a nightmarish crescendo. “Like a chrysalis” is the metaphor he uses to describe his transformation, the final metamorphosis of his existence, which will turn him into a merciless serial killer who punishes his victims. Indeed, his victims are not chosen at random, but for a specific reason, according to a cruel plan rooted in his rejection of society and its many contradictions. But a chance encounter with Lisa, a girl who loves reading poetry in solitude, gives the killer the illusion that there may still be purity and love in his life.
