The story
In a Jewish community in France, the five Hayoun brothers—Dan, Jonathan, Michael, Julien and David—are part of a close-knit family centered on their widowed mother, Suzy. But the brothers have long been estranged from David, the youngest, since he turned to a life of crime. When David calls them for help because he is in conflict with a clan of Marseille Gypsies, old bonds of brotherhood quickly reassert themselves. Dan, the eldest, assumes leadership as the family faces the danger and tries to defend David’s honor, despite the tensions that have divided them.
