Conni & Co 2 - Das Geheimnis des T-Rex (2017)

Former school principal Möller has been elected mayor of Neustadt. He is now planning to build a gigantic hotel on Neustadt’s nature-rich Rabbit Island. Conni and her friends try to stop him. It looks as though they will succeed when they find a huge dinosaur bone on the island. The mayor takes the bone for examination, but later secretly buries it. The children launch an operation on the island: using a detector, they find a cave beneath the forest floor. Security locks them in a shed, but they manage to escape and continue investigating their discovery. In the process, they prevent the mayor from blowing up the valuable skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus. The mayor now announces that he will build the hotel on the outskirts of town, sees the find as an advantage for the city, and even plans a museum. The island and the city are thus saved.
