The story
The documentary follows rehearsals and creative work on two productions. At the Semperoper in Dresden, performers prepare Christoph Willibald Gluck’s opera Iphigénie en Tauride. In Toubab Dialo, Senegal, young African dancers at École des Sables work on Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring. The film is structured musically around these two works and their development.
