The story
Young Lo is a spirited tomboy whose father wants her to marry a handsome man. Nearly impossible to manage, she steadfastly rejects all her suitors. One day, a dashing young lieutenant arrives; Lo is her father’s youngest daughter and his problem child.

Young Lo is a spirited tomboy with plenty of wild ideas in her head, and her father wants her to marry a handsome man. But the girl is nearly impossible to manage and steadfastly rejects all her suitors. Then one day a dashing young lieutenant comes along and sweeps the father’s youngest daughter, his problem child, off her feet. Soon their love barometer is showing a sustained high. The rebellious, defiant girl eventually becomes a charming young lady, who finally sinks into the arms of her “conqueror” entirely of her own free will and, after all sorts of mishaps and complications, gladly lets herself be led to the altar.
