Full plot (contains spoilers)
Phil and Claire Foster, a married couple from New Jersey, seek to break their monotonous routine by going to a trendy Manhattan restaurant. After Phil takes a reservation under the alias 'Tripplehorns', they are confronted by two men, Collins and Armstrong, who believe they have stolen a flash drive from mob boss Joe Miletto. Phil falsely claims the drive is in a boathouse in Central Park, where they manage to escape by boat. They soon discover the men are corrupt NYPD detectives on Miletto's payroll. Seeking the real Tripplehorns, they enlist the help of a high-tech security expert, Holbrooke Grant. They eventually locate the real Tripplehorns, who reveal the flash drive contains blackmail photos of District Attorney Frank Crenshaw. After a wild car chase and a confrontation at an illegal strip club where Claire poses as a dancer, the Fosters manage to create a standoff between Crenshaw and Miletto. Detective Arroyo and a SWAT team arrive to arrest the criminals. The Fosters are hailed as heroes and rekindle their passion.
