De Boskampi's (2015)

Rik Boskamp is the son of accountant Paul Boskamp. Paul is bullied by his colleagues and by the neighborhood children. He also cannot say no to telemarketers. Rik is bullied too, especially by Roderick, the son of one of Paul’s colleagues. When Paul is offered a promotion that would require them to move, he does not want it. He cannot handle change. Rik, who is keen on moving, makes sure the promotion goes ahead after all. They move to an affluent neighborhood, and Rik starts at a different school. To avoid being bullied, he changes his appearance to look like a tough kid. By chance, he goes into Gina’s shop, where he befriends Anton, Gina’s intellectually disabled brother. On his way home, he comes across Noah, who is being bullied by boys from the neighborhood. Rik steps in, and with Anton’s arrival he manages to save Noah. Together with Noah, he spreads the rumor that his father has close ties to the mafia (he gets the idea from a mafia movie he saw on TV). At his new school, Rik (who now calls himself Rikki Boskampi) spots a pretty girl. He manages to get a seat next to her and at first seems to make enemies of Menno and his gang, but they soon become friends. There is just one problem: Noah is bullied at school by Menno and his gang. Everything seems to be going smoothly until Roderick suddenly turns up at school. He has also moved to the neighborhood where Rikki lives. Paul is immediately bullied again by Roderick’s father. As all this is happening, Rikki and his father are also being closely watched by their across-the-street neighbor, a deranged former police officer. One day, as Rikki is walking home, a large car pulls up beside him. In the car is Marco Jr., the son of a real mafia boss. Marco Sr. wants to speak to “Paulo.” Rikki manages to make sure his father is not at home at the time he is supposed to be picked up, and thinks that will put an end to things. When Rikki feels that everything is going wrong, he decides to confess everything to Menno and his gang. But Roderick sees through him and reveals the secret before Rikki can do it himself. At that moment, Rikki is picked up by Marco Sr.’s driver. Paul goes with Gina to Marco Sr. to save his son. Just then, the police, acting on a tip from the across-the-street neighbor, raid Marco Sr.’s place and arrest Paul. Paul and Rikki explain the whole story to the police and are allowed to leave, much to the neighbor’s dismay.
