Full plot (contains spoilers)
After a failed attempt to save his girlfriend, Wade Wilson lives as a used-car salesman until the TVA captures him. They inform him that his universe is dying because its 'anchor being,' Logan, is gone. Wade travels the multiverse to find a replacement Wolverine, eventually finding a variant and taking him to the Void. There, they are captured by Cassandra Nova, the sister of Charles Xavier, who rules the wasteland. They join forces with a resistance group including Laura, Elektra, Blade, and Gambit to fight Cassandra's forces. After a series of battles involving various Deadpool variants and a desperate stand against Cassandra's ultimate plan to destroy all timelines with a 'Time Ripper,' Wade and Logan must decide who will sacrifice themselves to destroy the device. They manage to destroy the machine together, surviving the process and stopping the destruction of the multiverse. The film ends with Wade and Logan remaining in Wade's universe, where Logan encourages Wade to reconcile with his former lover.
