Three improv actors are recruited by the police to infiltrate the London criminal underworld.
The story
Kat Bryant is an improv teacher in London whose personal life has stalled while her friends have succeeded. Her life takes an unexpected turn when Detective Sergeant Graham Billings of the Metropolitan Police recruits her and two other struggling performers—Marlon, an unsuccessful actor, and Hugh, a lonely technical support worker—for a low-level undercover sting operation. The trio must use their improvisational skills to navigate the dangerous London criminal underworld. They begin by infiltrating a convenience store involved in the illicit cigarette trade, but their success leads them deeper into a web of organized crime where they must navigate the risks of the drug trade while maintaining their cover.

Kat, Marlon, and Hugh are recruited by the police to conduct undercover operations in London's criminal underworld. After successfully exposing a cigarette smuggling ring, they are pushed by Marlon's ambition into a deal with a drug dealer named Fly. A chaotic encounter with an Albanian gang leads them to work for Fly, eventually resulting in the death of a hitman, which draws police scrutiny. They are eventually blackmailed by a corrupt officer, Billings, who is later killed by a criminal named Shosh. The trio is then forced to work as informants for Fly to clear their names. During a final high-stakes drug exchange, they are betrayed by Fly's boss, Metcalfe. The trio manages to rescue Fly and get Metcalfe to incriminate himself, leading to a massive police raid. In the aftermath, the trio is rewarded with cash, and they return to their lives: Marlon finds success with a casting agent, Hugh opens a wine shop, and Kat's improv group becomes famous.
