An ATF agent travels back in time to prevent a domestic terrorist attack and save a woman he falls in love with.

The story

In New Orleans, a ferry carrying U.S. Navy sailors and their families explodes, killing 543 people. ATF Special Agent Doug Carlin discovers evidence of a bomb planted by a domestic terrorist and finds a woman, Claire Kuchever, who was seemingly killed in the blast but found in the river shortly before it occurred. Doug learns she was abducted and killed hours before the explosion. Impressed by his skills, Doug is invited to join a new governmental unit that utilizes a surveillance program called Snow White, which allows the team to view footage from the past. Convinced Claire is a vital link, Doug begins to track the movements of the suspect who planted the bomb.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

After discovering a woman named Claire Kuchever was abducted before a ferry explosion in New Orleans, ATF Agent Doug Carlin joins a special unit using 'Snow White,' a system that allows them to view past events. Doug identifies the bomber, Carroll Oerstadt, and realizes the technology can be used to travel back in time. He convinces his superiors to send him back to the morning of the bombing to save Claire. He successfully travels back, finds her, and they flee together. However, they are eventually cornered by Oerstadt. During a confrontation on the ferry, Doug manages to stop Oerstadt but is unable to disarm the bomb in time. He and Claire drive the vehicle into the river to save the passengers; Claire survives, but Doug dies in the explosion. In the present, a mourning Claire is approached by the version of Doug from her timeline.
