Full plot (contains spoilers)
Customs has received information that the container ship “Hundred Waves” may be bringing dangerous cargo to Bremerhaven. An informant who wishes to remain anonymous alerts the special unit for combating organized crime. Customs investigators Katta Strüwer, Lisa Cunningham, Gero von Bernbeck, and Sven-Erik Dröse then search the container ship, but initially find no incriminating evidence. After the search, the investigation focuses on a sailor who cannot be found and whose name has been removed from the official crew list. The team of four investigators uncovers connections that several people appear to be involved in, including the shipowner Gösta Berglund, businesswoman Astrid Töfting and her children Romy and David, Captain Marvin Schneider, and sailor Tobias Koch.
