A former brothel owner plans a lavish “health resort” whose success attracts high-society clients and dangerous rivals.
The story
While serving a four-year prison sentence, former brothel owner Madame Feh plans to open a luxurious establishment upon her release. She enlists Dr. Sylvia Boysen, a doctor whose drug use is noted in the account, and recruits attractive women for a business presented as a “health resort for vitality therapy.” The establishment quickly draws a large male clientele from high society, including managers and politicians, who are put through its so-called therapeutic gymnastics. Its success, however, rests on shaky ground, with envious and unscrupulous figures circling the business.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
While still serving her four-year prison sentence, former brothel owner Madame Feh hatches a plan to open a particularly luxurious establishment as soon as she is free again. As soon as she is released, she finds Dr. Sylvia Boysen, a doctor with no scruples because of her drug use, who supports Feh in her plan. Madame has no trouble finding enough attractive girls for her “health resort for vitality therapy,” either. Before long, the establishment can hardly cope with the male clientele from high society. Managers, politicians, and others are treated according to all the rules of “therapeutic gymnastics.” The only catch is that the “health resort” rests on shaky ground. Many people envy Madame Feh’s great financial success. There is, for example, the unscrupulous Dr. Glaser, who has a hand in all sorts of shady dealings, and the stripper Gloria, who blackmails people with illegally taken photographs. Dr. Boysen’s addiction cannot be kept secret forever, either, and Madame Feh’s dark past weighs heavily on her business. In short, the entrepreneur has no choice in the end but to trade her establishment for a less comfortable building: a correctional facility.
