Full plot (contains spoilers)
Mal struggles with her new celebrity life as King Ben's girlfriend, feeling forced to act like a princess. After a falling-out with Ben over her use of magic, she returns to the Isle of the Lost, which is now ruled by her rival Uma. Mal visits a hairstylist to restore her signature look while Uma plots to take over Auradon. Ben and his friends sneak to the Isle to find Mal, but they are captured by Uma. Mal and Uma engage in an arm-wrestling match for the Fairy Godmother's wand, which Uma wins. Uma demands the wand in exchange for Ben's return. Carlos and Jay create a replica wand using a 3D printer, joined by Lonnie, who was previously rejected by Jay's team. Uma eventually discovers the forgery. The group returns to Auradon, where the villains' children confront their pasts. During the Cotillion, Ben publicly declares his love for Uma to destroy the barrier, but Jane reveals his true affection for Mal. Mal confesses her love for Ben, breaking a love potion spell. A magical battle ensues between Mal (as a dragon) and Uma (as a sea monster), which Ben intervenes to stop. Mal surrenders her spell book, and Dizzy Tremaine is invited to attend Auradon Prep.
