Die Berliner Range (1913)

At the center of the story is a young actress who takes a break to try her hand at a completely different line of work. The cheeky young woman then takes off her elegant clothes, puts on a white work jacket and checked trousers, and becomes a baker’s apprentice. Before long, the Berlin girl throws her master’s bakery into complete disarray with her mischievous antics. But she also steps in to help during the bakers’ apprentices’ strike; she gets beaten up and beats others up herself. In the end, however, everything turns out well, and the young woman achieves the goal she had set herself.
