By chance, Felix discovers at his birthday party that his wife is cheating on him with his friend. Enraged, he speeds off in his light-blue Porsche to end his life. By an incredible stroke of luck, he fails. This leads to a peculiar deal between Felix and the field worker he nearly ran over. Felix now owns a run-down gas station. He struggles not only with the change from running a neon-sign advertising business to working as a gas station attendant, but also with the station across the road, whose owner, Weda, stops at nothing to ruin him.
