The story

Full plot (contains spoilers)
The plot draws on events that are central to the Victorian London novel classic “Oliver Twist.” Here, Oliver is called Percy and is likewise a foundling. When he has to leave his home, a London orphanage, he immediately falls into the clutches of criminals. What Percy doesn’t even suspect is that these crooks are working for his older stepbrother, who wants to get rid of the boy so he can claim his inheritance. But as Percy, forced to go on thefts—hence the alternate title “The Seventh Commandment”—threatens to sink ever deeper into the abyss, there are also people who mean well by him and ultimately free him from the criminal underworld.
