Full plot (contains spoilers)
A murder has been committed! The suspect is the daredevil performer Salto King, who draws a full tent every evening at the Roxi Circus. He is accused of murdering the wealthy Count Thierry, who was found lifeless in the villa of his girlfriend, Ellen Montis. Salto King is determined to prove his innocence, so he makes a daring escape from arrest. He firmly believes that Miss Montis is behind the bloody deed and pursues her over hill and dale, by land, by water and through the air. Always at his side is his loyal German shepherd, Greif. When she tries to escape in a seaplane, Salto King fearlessly chases the young woman in a speedboat. Before the culprit can get away, the resourceful performer manages to swing from the speedboat onto the floats of the ascending plane. In mid-flight, Salto King gets inside the aircraft. He forces the culprit to put on a parachute with him and then jump into the depths. Once back on solid ground, the circus performer hands Ellen over to the police.
